About Isla

After beginning her competitive cycling journey at the start of 2022, Isla rode for Edinburgh Road Club Race Team as a Youth and then with JRC in her first year as a Junior. In 2023, Isla won the Scottish Cyclocross Series Championship, the Scottish Olympic TT Championships and was part of the successful quartet who won the Scottish Senior Team Pursuit Championships on the track.

Cycling has been a big sport in Isla’s family since she was tiny with her whole family going on two wheeled adventures together. Isla decided to take cycling more seriously during lockdown and finally built up the courage to start racing having moved south from the Scottish Highlands.

“I’m really looking forward to my second year as a Junior and being part of an exciting new Scottish team. I still feel like I’m learning in every race and hoping to progress on both the road and track in 2024.”
