About Millie

I have cycled for as long as I can remember and started with Deeside Thistle when the club was formed, and I was about 6 years old. I’m looking forward to being in a team who I can continue to grow with, learn from and build new friendships and relationships with. I’ve wanted to race internationally since taking part in the Youth Tour of Belgium which changed my perspective and sparked something that has left me wanting to do more.  Since then, as a first-year junior, I’ve had incredible opportunities racing abroad in the Netherlands, and France, and my highlight of the year racing for Team Scotland at the Commonwealth Youth Games in Trinidad and Tobago.

Results I’m most proud of from this season include Scottish champion in road, circuit, and cyclocross; second in the points race at the  British track championships; and taking home two bronzes and a silver for Scotland from Trinidad. I’m excited to be part of Solas this coming year and be surrounded by a team who will support each other at races and in training to become better riders and have some fun!
